By JUMI RHODES The new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has been given a Muslim name by the Chief Imam of Ife Central Mosque, Alhaji Sheihk Opeloye. The Chief Imam was represented by his deputy, Alhaji AbdulSemiu AbdulHammed at the Jumat prayers on Friday which the new Ooni and his wife Olori Adebisi Ogunwusi attended. Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi was named Ismail at the prayer session. Speaking at the event, AbdulHammed said the first Chief Imam named late Oba Adesoji Aderemi as Sulaiman and late Oba Okunade Sijuwade was Mohammed Saliu.
