Hello house!, pls i just entered the capital market. I understand first bank's year end is march and they normally pay their dividend / bonuses by august. but i bought into this company with the aim of being paid dividend for last financial year. if i sell off their shares which i bought in march with another broker, wil i get these benefits since i bought it on 19th of march 2009? (i.e before their year end) The fact is that i urgently need to change my present broker cos of extremely poor services in which case, i have to sell them and buy with a new broker. So, if i buy 1st bank stocks between now and july? wil i be paid dividend / given bonuses when declared?
