A Nigerian Court of Appeal sitting in Enugu has quashed the election of Uche Ekwunife of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in response to an appeal filed by Victor Umeh of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
A lead judgement read by Justice Datijo Yahaya stated that the election of Mrs Ekwunife on April 11, 2015, did not meet the prescription of the electoral act.

The judge then ordered that fresh election is held in the Anambra Central Senatorial District within 90 days.

the reason why ngige didnt win the last election is because everybody thought that Goodluck is going to win. So nobody care who is the candidate of any party so far as its PDP they will vote for u. But at the end pdp loss and anambra is not pdp state, so expect a defeat of pdp if there is a rerun. But i dont know why the election is nullified because its free and fair.
