SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB ASSIGNMENT
Reporting to the Head Design & Development, the role will work closely with Head, Web Design and other members of the Development Team to develop detailed design specifications with clear project deliverables and timelines The candidate must have and be able to demonstrate very strong analytical skills combined with some knowledge of Interactive technologies / techniques including Action Script, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PHP, MYSQL and Coreldraw

MAIN ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1)Develop and build complete Flash banner ads, 
2)Produce Flash Animations & web sites using Adobe Flash, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Fireworks, HTML/DreamWeaver, 3)Design Flash websites as well as slicing of websites
4)Design interactive flash multimedia
5)Communicate to the Head web design with efficiency and accuracy on any progress and/or delays
6)Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content, for website
7)Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary
Create visual concepts that match the content and the image desired by the clients and ensure that sites are easy to navigate
9)Build websites using technologies that conform to international standards
10)Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested by clients
11)Provide training on maintenance and update procedures to clients who choose to take charge of their own websites.
12)Contribute to the overall development of the Web Design team
13)Any other duty as may be requested by management

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:
1)Must have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a similar degree or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
2)Knowledgeable about the principles of graphics, typography, and illustration.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1 year experience corporate web design experience

2)Good knowledge of Interactive technologies / techniques including Action Script, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PHP , MYSQL and Coreldraw
3)Good knowledge of Photoshop/ fireworks and fluent in Adobe Creative Suites
4)Skillful in the use of pens, pencils, crayons, T-square, triangles and other visual and graphic aids.
5)The ability to translate others' ideas into designs, sketches and layouts
