Houston Police Officer, Officer D. Herrejon had gotten so used to his horse, Charlotte after having worked with him for four years in the Houston police department. Both the horse and the officer had spent time together training during those four years and they have surely been happy together with Charlotte becoming popular in the neighborhood for giving nuzzles to children. She was also a great partner for Herrejon and has finished her training with flying colors.Unfortunately, tragedy hit Charlotte with fatal consequences as he was accidentally hit by a truck while running on the road.The damage was fatal and the horse was left there on the streets struggling. The officer who felt the pain his dying horse was going through couldn't help but had to be by her side until she passed on.
