1. Carry out a comprehensive search of Universities base on your choice of country, state/province, and course of study, CGPA, standardized test scores, and tuition fee payment abilities. You can utilize a combination of international and national universities rankings, student experience review, industry reviews to ensure you get the best graduate school experience.

2. GCPA conversion: Do an unofficial conversion of your CGPA from scale 5.0 GPA to the North American 4.0 scale. This will help you determine schools to apply to.

3. Write a convincing research motivation letter/cover letter/statement of purpose based on current and future research trajectories, and government policies in your area of interest.

4. Prepare a good application and avoid common application mistakes. This is central to getting admitted.

5. Get a high score in the standardized exams such as GRE and TOEFL.

6. Search through the numerous funding opportunities available and apply.

7. Get research assistant positions by preparing a customized and convincing application for research assistantship to professors in your choice of schools.
