This is my biggest problem with Fashola. He sounds smart and is eloquent but his decisions are just to increase suffering of the masses.

Is it so hard for Fashola to understand things are hard in the country. The revenue is dwindling. No jobs.

So why is Fashola thinking of increasing Tariff.

PMB is trying to run a socialist government of sorts and then he puts Fashola in charge of 3 ministries Power, Housing and Works...he won't get very far.

Fashola is a natural friend of the elite (they own the DISCOS), even though he's a newcomer to that class. If you don't have money Fashola cannot be your friend.

Most of our politicians av lost touch wit the realities in nigeria. When was d last tym fasola or buhari pay a crazy electricity bill or slept in darkness. These ppl usualy tell us to b patient as nigerians r impatient ppl bt they dnt, nd cant feel wat we feel daily

That is why I was not happy with PMB putting Fashola in charge of the Works and Housing Ministry. Amaechi is a man who aligns with the poor, that is why he did projects towards empowering the unemployed. Like his teachers training program, free school projects with free uniforms, books, socks and sandals, the new mile one market etc.

Fashola is elitist and I think that was a mistake by Buhari.

They should first cancel every old debts that has accumulated on people's bills by estimated billing on power that was barely provided. Some residential houses in poor areas like Ikotun, lagos are owing up to N100,000 naira as debts due to indiscriminate estimated billing. "NEPA" officials use this debts as a tool to intimidate, bully and put electricity consumers under perpetual bondage. Consumers are virtually prisoners to electricity providers because of these debts.

There's no gain without pain. Nothing good comes easy that is why it wasn't fully privatised in the first place. By the time the rates goes up, the companies will be able recouple a large amount of money to invest more. Each state should start generating it's own power supply

Are the companies not making a lot already. Are we not losing already paying exorbitant fees for an epileptic supply of power? Why do the suffering masses have to pay more?

This is not a pain and gain situation. This is a More Pain No Gain Situation.

Amaechi butt licker.

It is not about butt licking but a fact. Amaechi is someone from a humble background. His father was a palm wine taper. So he understands the plights of a struggling Nigerian. Fashola does not think that way.

Amaechi would think of projects that will benefit the struggling Nigerians, while Fashola will think of the next Banana Island.

Expect worse. This Fashola is a generator importer, and he is the owner of this Discos. He has to recover the money spent to buy ministerial position and Discos. look at hw Fashola and Pmb are behaving like Oil money is their fathers property. Corruption every where you go.
