Male infertility is the inability to cause a pregnancy. Male infertility is often due to low sperm count.


CAUSES

1- DNA damage


2- Tobacco smoking: Smoking tobacco increases intake of cadmium, because the tobacco plant absorbs the metal. DIAGNOSIS

Sperm are collected from the semen or removed carefully from the testis or epididymis. ICSI can achieve pregnancies even when only a few sperm are produced.

As for IVF, after fertilisation the resulting embryos are then placed into the woman’s uterus.


HORMONAL THERAPY: Administration of luteinizing hormone (LH) (or human chorionic gonadotropin ) and

follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is very effective in the treatment of male infertility due to hypogonadotropic hypogonadism .
