If the reason why buhari shouldn't be probed, is because he didn't know the money used for his SUVs, was from the arms deal, then I see no reason why Dokpesi, Bafarawa, Metuh or any other person should be probed. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. |

We can, at least, agree on one thing - the 2 SUVs were rightly deserved. Purchasing and delivering of vehicles for ex HOS is no different from that of a sitting president. Security is of utmost importance. No matter the office that buys the vehicles, the ONSA takes possession to ensure they meet up with specifications, screen for bugs, install or deactivate any gadget as indicated and ensure safe delivery under security cover to the recipient. Ex HOS do not request for their entitlements. The presidency makes anticipatory provision as directed by the law. It wont be out of place if the presidency goes further to inquure from an ex HOS if he has any other interest that needs attention. Now, why would an ex HOS ask the presidency the office that purchased his SUV ? That will amount to crass stupidity. It implies the presidency is incompetent. 1 Like |

What previous contributors on this thread failed to consider is that PDP is questioning the receipt by Buhari because he has already received full monetized benefits from SGF as former Head of State hence the reason Buhari declared the Armoured SUVs as gift from a well wisher in his Assets declaration form as to cover the deal.
