It amazes me reading that China Mobile market build the world largest 4G Network in the country and even planning on 5G network as we Nigerians are still asking for a stable and fast 3G network from our network providers in this country.

It is reported today that China Mobile market built the world largest 4G in the country. By the end of November 2015, China Mobile’s 4G network had 1.07 million base stations, covering a population of over 1.3 billion, the People’s Daily reported.

According to China Mobile chairman Shang Bing, by the end of this year, the number of 4G users will exceed 300 million. Currently, 5G has become the new hot trend in the mobile communications industry. China Mobile has already issued the technical proposal for 5G, and will continue to push forward with product development and experimentation.

The application and development of 4G technology in China has effectively promoted the internationalization of fourth generation mobile communication technology TD-LTE, which is led by China.

The total number of TD-LTE users has reached 386 million globally, and Chinese TD-LTE users account for 45 percent of the total number of 4G users in the world. Among the 2,380 types of 4G terminals in the world, over half of the commercial terminals support TD-LTE.
