2010 Cerato is a new car. I doubt if our service centre is in delta... Am sure we have one in Edo. The probability of getting a good mechanic to have it fixed is poor. Overhaul is cheaper but has its disadvantages. Brand new engine is way too high. Tokunbo hmmmmmm.
Tot you were around south east..pH, cross river n akwa ibom. I would have access the level of damage with a free GDS scan...
My advice is get the car to the nearest KIA AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER N HAVE IT FIXED.

Best bet is to get another which would save you stress. That engine is quite expensive priced it this year for 500k. Wasn't suprised though cos it shares same engine with some lastest kia and hyundia

I met a mechanic that says it's oil pump, metal and bearing...he says provided the parts are original,it would work fine...I'm just hoping.
does anyone have an idea of the cost of these?

At least now you know, the red oil warning light indicates OIL PRESSURE, not OIL LEVEL. When ever you see this warning, you are meant to STOP the car. Even if your home or mechanic is only 100 yards away. You could have saved the motor, and gotten away with just replacing the oil pump, oil and filter. Once you hear that death rattle, it's too late.

Oil pump failure causes more damage, than your mechanic can solve by simply replacing the oil pump and crankshaft bearings. Any competent tech will tell you the same, and advise a strip down to assess:

Crankshaft journals - if worn, a regrind will be required.
Crankshaft bearings will definitely be shot - size required will depend on crank journal size after regrind (if required).
Piston condition - if oil starvation was prolonged, the crowns and ringlands may be damaged.
Piston rings.
Conrod bearings.
Camshaft - furthest from oil pump, so first area of damage, usually. Bearings are integral with the cylinder head, so you're most likely looking at a complete cylinder head.
Oil pump and strainer / pickup tube.
Hot tanking the stripped cylinder block to remove all debris and metal swarf.

Of course, reassembly will require a complete gasket set, timing chain and tensioner, tensioner slipper and guide, new cylinder head bolts - these are torque-to-yield / stretch bolts, which means they should NOT be reused.

This is what I as a certified tech would do, NO exceptions. The cost of this work, if done properly will certainly outweigh the cost of a decent replacement engine.

Labour? Budget at least 18-26 hours in Nigeria. Though a competent tech should be able to complete the work in 12 hours. So could I.

Bearing this in mind, coupled with the fact the average Nigeria doesn't know his armpit from his elbow, I would strongly advise you to go with a replacement engine.

Good luck!
