This is an argument some of you might be familiar with, but it is still a confusing one nonetheless.

Some argue that since New year day is the first day of the year, it is the celebration that comes first.

But I say that's crazy, right now there are two upcoming celebrations, Christmas and New year.

A few days from now we will be celebrating Christmas and one week after that, it will be New year day celebration. Therefore Christmas comes first and not New year.
