FOUNDER of the One Love Family and the Living Perfect Master, Satguru Maharaji Ji, yesterday frowned at Iran’s position on the Shiites sect and their confrontation with the Nigerian Army.
In a statement, Maharaji said that Iran’s recent direct intervention in a matter that is purely Nigeria’s internal affairs constitutes an aggressive affront on Nigeria’s sovereignty noting that it was “unacceptable and condemnable.”
Iran summoned Nigeria’s charge d’affaires over army crackdown on Shiites by the Nigerian Army.
The statement reads in parts:”It is a coup against United Nation’s Charter that forbids sovereign nations from interfering in matters that are exclusively internal to UN member nations.
“Nigeria as the new holy land of the universe can hardly afford to take such an insult from Teran, directing Abuja on steps to take, concerning the unfortunate incident arising from the clash between men of the Nigeria armed forces and Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) who are seeking to establish an Islamic state in Nigeria through an Iranian styled revolution.”
