I remember when Nigerian wedding receptions had
songs like "Eto igbeyawo l'aiye" by Ebenezer Obey and
the couple would dance in with thanksgiving songs, but
now newly married couples dance to "were lo ba de", Iwo yapa, hennesy yapa, omo yapa. couples even danced to "Ashawo", Caro, Baby hello, etc
I know times have changed but I still think songs you
wanna dance to on your wedding day should have
relevance and some level of positivity. I would pick
"Iyawo mi" by Timi Dakolo over "Waa fee ku la le yi". songs like oruka ti dowo Na by sunny nneji, olomi, Ada by flavour is not bad, even psquare marriage song is still better
It may be the new thing but think things through before
you pick the songs for your wedding.
they shud minister n speak positive things to ur future home.
