I wonder why some folks would assume so.

Sometimes, you comment because their photos are displayed prominently in your face, stop taking things personally as if they consulted commentators before displaying the photoshoots.

If the comment is positive, it doesn't mean I'm your fan, and if the comment is not flattering, it doesn't mean I'm your enemy.

It is just a comment, what you are looking for is publicity which you already got or which you already have. No publicity without the public, so face your photoshoots and stop projecting on people.
