I was just pissed off the moment I saw this: that Petrol will be selling for N86:50k.

What type of unnecessary stunt is this, why can't this government let sleeping dog to lie!

Was it done so that the Change mantra will keep on souring high that FG has succeeded in reducing pump price of oil in 2016 and that they are truly working.

Please is there any sanity in this unnecessary stunt?

Or if I may ask, is N86:50k any difference from N87.

How long will this government stop deceiving people?

This was exactly how Lai Muhammad came out and told the public that Boko Haram has been technically defeated. If you observe, that action even went ahead to provoke the sect members and they did it again and again to prove that they have not been defeated.

Now again FG wants us to clap for them in the guise that they have reduced pump price of oil.

Every oil marketer will tell you #0.50 is something.

Are they doing for the marketers or for the major masses out there? If you buy 1litre and give them N90,will they give you change? So what is the need for this? Why not just focus on other thing than this unnecessary stunt, so that people will praise them for lowering of oil pump price.

Mind you, Nigerians are not complaining about the N87 oil pump price. Let them make the products constantly available at that N87 and see whether people will clamour for reduction of oil pump price, than this 50kobo stunt that at the end scarcity will still be the order of the day

Voodoo politics and mundane stunt. A supposed country where no one uses coins is cutting down oil price by 50kobo while the product itself is very scarce. We shall see how it pans out in 2016.
