Fire has broken out in Dubai Next to the Burj Khalifa were they were preparing to hold fireworks celebrations.

It is not a small sight and we can't even get close to the place. What is even more sad is that a lot of people went to the area to witness the fireworks and the dubai Metro link was closed ahead of the event.

Everyone today was talking about how the fireworks would be awesome and break the previous record for the most fireworks display.

Praying no casualties in this unfortunate mishap. Great News no casualties recorded thus far. Everyone accounted for.
There are four (4) fire fighting teams combating the fire and they got here in less than 0.5 seconds (lol)

Meanwhile the Dubai government has said that fireworks will go off in an hour as scheduled.

I hope it won't become world's most scattered building

Building is across the lake from Burj Arab 7 star hotel.

Incidentally it is also a hotel (5 Stars) about 60 stories high. The fire started on the 20TH floor.
