While some think they are actually sacrificing quality for low price, Chinese OEMs have definitely given other global smartphone vendors a run for their money especially in the Middle East and Africa region. Blueboo is another Chinese OEM and the company just teased its first triple-SIM Android smartphone, Bluboo Xfire.
Blueboo Xfire clearly isn’t the first triple- SIM phone in history, there have been several Chinese phones in the past with this feature and they even managed to pack UHF/VHF TV on them back then. And in 2013, another Chinese company claimed to have the world’s first triple-SIM Android smartphone and even showed it in a Youtube video . In 2014 too, LG released LG Optimus L1 II Tri E475, a triple-SIM Android phone running Android 4.1.2 Jellybean. However, Bluboo Xfire seems to be the world’s first Android phone with a 5-inch screen and the fact that it’s ridiculously cheap gets it massive media coverage. The device will have a HD resolution 720 x 1280 pixels. The device will be powered by a MediaTek quad-core chipset, MT6580. There isn’t much details on the specifications at the moment but it’s rumored that the device will be launched by January 2016. From the image, it appears users will either use 2 SIM cards plus a microSD card or 3 SIM cards. We will publish more information about this device as more details come in. So are you going to rock this device this new year Tell us what you think about this tri-sim phone. .
