It's a new year, a new beginning (if you're the type that believe such ish) and generally a blank mural, a fresh sheet.

While I'm no way supporting the wicked ways through wich Christian folks milk money from unsuspecting believers or the way two churches, both with different ideologies can convivently tag themselves as the only way to the mythical paradise, most of the population are. I therefore beseech you all, Christians and non, that we should try to do more of this in 2016


1) Work more. Don't sit on your ass waiting for (to use platteon words) the Toothfairy to perform a miracle

2) Read and broaden your knowledge. It's a sorry state of Affairs when most Religious denomination convieniently scream out that Science is Evil........... Via Microphones, Television programmes, and even Social Media. Nigeria has been tagged as an illiterate country. It would be a sorry state if the Literates decide not to read; a message Pastors are indirectly saying


3) Stop demeaning yourself. You're African. Be proud of it: Many Africans living in Afric have some sort of mental inferiority, which is expounded by the constant pictures of rapture showing white people playing in rapture or the pictures of white Jesus. So you're black. Does this mean you should like in eternal inferiority, always serving God so as for him to take you to "White paradise?" (the term is Uncle Ruckuses) Hell No! Africans,Christians in particular, should not feel inferior to anyone and no one. Rather they should try to make some impact to their environment and try to acheive something good rather than waiting for sky daddy to change everything.

4) Help a man in need, be it Muslim, Traditionalist or Christian: It's really sad, when you see a big Christian church and just opposite it, you see beggars begging for daily bread, the thin gruel which is barely able to sustain them. One wonders whether such a church cannot help these people, feed and clothe them, nuture them. But no, they spend the money coerced out of members to build bigger churches with grander architectural design, making one bewildered as to whether the statement "God does not care how big or small the church is" still holds. Christians should please work on that.
