ABIA STATE 0910hrs: Ongoing protests along Ikot-Ekpene Road, Aba. Opopo junction is completely blocked due to gridlock inward and outward Ogbor Hill area, Aba.
Staff are advised to avoid the area for now!!!
They are protesting because of the court ruling that removed their governor.
The news reaching to us from an eye witness said
" The aggrieved protestants blocked the express leading to Aba. They blocked Isiala ngwa, Umuekan junction, Osisioma bus-stop."
She also said the she i learnt Old road is also a no go area. They beat and poured fermented kiakia(hot drink) on one of the passengers in the bus i'm travelling with."

" They didn't break the wind screen but they almost did and they beat up a man that was in the jeep."

Protest will be allowed in the proposed republic as long it is peaceful. Unlike what we currently have now
