Where is there destination
A there place to rest all life’s cares
A there place where assurance is assured
Where all burdens are placed

At the cross, is there
Where Christ’s love is spread abroad
Where so love surpass human comprehension
To leave my burden there

It is a new calendar year
Thoughts are beginning to ravage as the sea
But the spirit is ever calm to remind me
Leave it there, leave it there and don’t bear it

I am surrendering every burden
On Christ’s feet, for it is sure secured
I will trust and never doubt
For Christ’s is ever able to see me through
