There are strong rumors that Huawei will launch its 2016 Flagship smartphone at the upcoming CES 2016 event in Las Vegas. The smartphone is reported to come with awesome features , most exciting of which is a whooping 6GB RAM. If this should happen , Huawei P9 would be one of the first smartphones to use 6GB Random Access Memory.



As for the processor , the P9 may use Huawei's new Kirin 950 chipset. Benchmark results revealed that the chipset is one of the most powerful in the market. The Krin 950 is a combination of two quadcore processors ; making it an octa-core processor. The first processor is a Quadcore Cortex-A72 chipset clocked at 2.4GHz frequency , while the second is a Quadcore Cortex-A53 with a speed of 1.8GHz.



When put through a series of test , The Kirin 950 outperformed Samsung's Exynos 7420 ; scoring 1,909 points in the Single-Core test and 6,096 points in the Multi-Core test.

The Huawei P9 may be available in three variants , and each variant will differ in screen size and RAM. The standard P9 could feature a 5.2 inch screen and 6GB RAM , The P9 Max with 6.7 inch display and 6GB RAM while P9 Lite could could launch with 5.0 inch screen and 4GB RAM.
