The services of a Financial Accountant is urgently needed in a firm in Lagos.

Key Roles
1. Prepare and submit statutory returns as at when due.
2. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
3. Oversee all inter company transactions.
4. Handle all insurance claims for distributors.
5. Compute WHT on bonus for distributors.
6. Reconcile major balance sheet items.
7. Passing reconciliation adjustments in respect of (6) above.
8. Monitor and oversee all centre managers’ monthly working funds and ensure proper booking into the ERP.
9. Ensure prompt availability of insurance documents when needed.
10. Prepare audit vouchers and ensure correct coding.


Minimum Requirement:
HND/B.Sc. in Accounting or related field, 5 years’ experience as an Accountant, Auditor or Accounts Officer, Associate member of ICAN or ACCA, Master’s degree will be an added advantage, advanced IT skills, good analytical and presentation, leadership and managerial abilities, financial modelling skills, understanding of current accounting principles. In addition, he/she must have thorough understanding of tax returns, other statutory returns, etc.
