PMB's military background and discipline is a plus.

If fact, he's already exceeding my expectations...

During his regime as a head of state he has the free hand to do and undo bt reverse is the case now, everything must pass thru some cabal, the judiciary and the FHS before anything can be implemented, and u must dance to their tune if u don't want to face impeachment

So i'm waiting for him to defy all this odds by bringing corruption to its minimum (dasukigate, halliburton, ptf etc) it's nt abt using media to snetence the culprit bt by taking them to court and jail them (if found guilty

This is why democracy is bad news when it comes to many places in the undeveloped world saddled with uneducated and unsophisticated electorates.

In developed democracies, their electorates knows exactly how to castrate corrupt and obstructive public officials and politicians. The fear of electoral recall mitigates most of their shenanigans unlike in Nigeria and many African countries where the threat of recall and punishment by the electorates.

Basically, the house and the senate in Nigeria especially are doing what they are doing right now because the Nigerian voters are too uneducated and unsophisticated electorally.

The only hope for Nigeria right now is to raise their voice and support the president against these corrupt and unpatriotic elements..

Nigeria ain't ripe enough for democracy. Cuz every elected officer sees politics as an avenue to enrich his pockets at the cost of the masses when reverse should be the case.
