2009/2010 SCREENING EXERCISE FOR ADMISSION
This is to invite all candidates who chose the Federal University of Technology, Owerri as their FIRST and SECOND CHOICE of University and who scored 180 and above in the April 2009 University Matriculation Examination (UME) conducted by JAMB to a Screening Exercise on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 11.00am Candidates should be at their assigned venues at 9.00am prompt.

METHOD REGISTRATION

    * Eligible candidates should purchase a scratch card of N1,000.00 (One thousand naira only) from any of the banks listed below.
    * With the scratch cards, candidates should access and complete the registration form at www.futo.admissions.com.
          o Click on Online Examination Procedure (please read the Instructions carefully).
          o Click on Post-UME Online form. Direct entry candidates click on Direct entry applicants.
          o Input your UME Exam No. (as captured on your UME result notification page) and your scratch card pin code. DO NOT DISPOSE OF YOUR SCRATCH CARD.
          o Carefully complete application form. ALL FIELDS ARE COMPULSORY. DO NOT FORGET TO UPLOAD A CLEAR COPY OF YOUR PHOTOGRAPH. (The format should be gif or jpeg and shouldn’t be above 200 X 200 pixel).
          o Click on Preview, ensure all your entries are correct.
          o Click on Submit button to submit your form for processing.

NOTE:
# Blurred scanned passport photograph will disqualify an applicant.
# Sale of scratch cards will commence on Monday, June 15, 2009 and closes on Tuesday, June 30, 2009.
# Candidates should come for screening with the following:

    * HP pencil, eraser and sharpener
    * Two clear copies (with clear pictures) of the printout of completed online registration form
    * UME result slip and photocopy
    * Scratch card used for registration

PUBLICATION OF RESULTS
Screening results will be posted on the website not later than one week from the date of the exercise. Admitted candidates will be posted also.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Candidates for Direct Entry should register on-line through Direct entry applicants module and follow instructions as for UME. The screening exercise will hold on August 8, 2009 by 10.00am at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
