A Senator representing Ekiti South, Mrs Biodun Olujimi in a show of appreciation gave out six vehicles, bags of rice, vegetable oil, and other food items to people from her senatorial district today.

What's the essesnce behind the sharing of cars? To aid agriculture or transportation? I don't like politicians like this.

I believe that Ekiti has arable land. It would have been better and cheaper to support Ekiti farmers with fertilizers to grow their crops. They can even mobilise some set of people into poultry farming(for those with interest). This wealth creation avenue will not only put food on the tables of the beneficiaries, it will also sustain food on their table. The government and officials only need to patronise the produce of the Ekiti farmers.
