Is A Smartphone Necessary For A University Fresher? by Nobody: 10:52am On Jan 08, 2016
Good day Educationlanders I am a fresher in one of the federal universities in Nigeria. Recently I lost my phone and in the bid to get a replacement from my parents I have been rebuffed with them saying I do not need a smartphone since I will be provided with all the textbooks in school.

please I need responses from fellow students, is a smartphone( needed for its Internet connection) a necessity for a student in this era? especially an engineering student?
