The 2016 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebrations started, Friday January 8th 2016, with a Jumat service at the National Mosque, Abuja Nigeria

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the event. Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed, was also in attendance.

I dedicate this space to every human in the Nigeria Armed Forces who swore to defend this country even with their last breath........... My emphathy goes out to the families of the fallen heroes and to those at the war front, I say more grease to your elbow.

All this eye service prayers is not important. What is more important is taking care of the wounded soldiers, meeting the needs of the orphans they left behind and the widows too., ensuring that the ones alive are be cared for and not this your prayer wey no the touch ceiling because of looting our yam from the barn
