The Nigerian Army on Friday advised Nigerians to always keep members of the Armed Forces combating the Boko-Haram insurgency in their prayers. The Commander, 9th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brig-Gen. Abdulmalik Biu, made the appeal in an interview with newsmen after a special Jumaat service at the Alausa Central Mosque, Ikeja Lagos. The service was to commemorate the 2016 Armed Force Biu thanked residents and Nigerians at large for remembering those who had paid the supreme price to ensure peace in the nation. He urged them to continue to support those still in the battlefield. Speaking on behalf of the Imams at the Mosque, Alhaji Abdulhakeem Kosoko urged Nigerians to be patient with the Federal Government and the Armed Forces as they battled to overcome He described the annual Remembrance Day as a form of encouragement to serving officers and men of the Armed Forces and an occasion to assist the families of fallen heroes.

Yes oh its not easy been on the battle field a lot of us here go about blabbing that the NA is not capable of waging war against terrorism,NA is this and that etc.
But hey the travails this men & perhaps women face on the battle field many of us who blab hasn't experienced it before. So lets pray for them cos there are fathers,mothers,sons & daughters among them.

The Nigerian Army rather than encouraging people to pray should encourage the masses to join the forces. Only more manpower would tip this battle to the army's favour not _stupid prayers that can't make a poor man rich.
