Remember last year, there was a protest in the University of Lagos over terrible beds, bed bug pandemic and the sorry state of the halls of residence which gained coverage in Punch Newspaper, Linda Ikeji's blog etc. Well the school management has commenced changing the beds in the hostel and fumigation. While this is viewed as a commendable step in the right direction, the fate of the students who led the protests hang in the balance as they have been summoned to face disciplinary action for dragging to the mud the image of the university. While these students may face expulsion or rustication for some semesters, everyone is calm since the management have decided to be co-operative for once.

OAU mgt are full of corrupt pple.Unilag vc from what I heard is a cool man he do listen to student during protest coz he has fear of God.He is not stubborn goat like dat Omoale of OAU.
If u see dat a student protest yield a positive change,it is not by how peaceful the protest is or how vibrant are the student protesting,it depends on the management if they will listen...though I pray dis shd be a nice development and move for other vc.

I have great respect for this citadel of learning like i do for all other higher institution of learning but to be very honest, i wasnt expecting to see such structure anywhere around UNILAG, talkmore of been a hall of Residence...Pathetic i must say..
