Nothing extra-ordinary. You improvise, especially during wars. Bridge can't be at all the necessary points.

OP , what is wrong with it?

I was about to ask the same question. This looks like spontaneous improvisation. The very thing soldiers are trained to do. What else would they do? Wait for the Nigerian navy when on hot pursuit?

You can experince this when there is poor funding. Once you had a Dasuki and heartless army chiefs, you will surely see things like this.

I HAIL THE GALANT SOLDIERS. MAY GOD PROTECT YOU ALL.

There is nothing wrong with it and it is part of a soldier's duty to improvise and help themselves out to enable them achieve their target and misson - They are in a war zone and not some Christmas party.

God bless our GALLANT boys. You see, most of you don't know what it takes to be a soldier, to dodge deadly wheezing bullets and to be in the direct line of fire. It takes courage and serious discipline. These guys do their best to combat terrorism while missing some of their loved ones.
It's NOT EASY. You're online with your laptop/mobile browsing and typing freely. These guys might be somewhere in a thick forest trying to pitch a tent somewhere while being alert for any sudden invasion. They hardly sleep.. just rest.
May God bless our soldiers and keep them safe in the face of war.
not everyone is meant to be a soldier Mr. Man
and besides we pay taxes which goes to paying their salaries
So yes we pay them to keep us safe
now hush

this is a very sorry situation where in this modern life Nigeria is still in the ancient times how about if boko haram should engage them in battle in this stage of transportation what do you think will happen to this men
Please Mr President General Mohamamadu Buhari GCFon look into this situation
Note
Nigeria can afford to build an immergency monkey bridge that will cost us nothing compared to what Dansukigate has shared through the office Of ONSA

Pontoon is one of the most important things taught in the military. It is used to cross waters whose bridges are blown out by enemies.

Who to be blamed? Our answer is GEJ. Under Gej nose as a commander of army forces he gave his NSA 2.1billion dollars and he doesn't monitor how the money was spent, in fact gej cannot run local government successful I don't know how he manage his house. No wonder pej is the one wearing trouser while gej wearing skirt. Is over to you wailing wailer.

The name Nigeria applying to no
other part of Africa may without
offence to any neighbours be accepted
as co-extensive with the territories over
which the Royal Niger Company has extended
British influence , and may serve to
differentiate them equally from the
colonies of Lagos and the Niger Protectorate
on the coast and from the French territories
of the Upper Niger.

. Sounded like my fellow barrack boy, I have two love ones serving there and I know the psychological trauma they faced when ever they are at home on leave.

Dose Nigeria have ears in the right places to monitor what is going on concerning those men transferred from Guantanamo Bay to Ghana? Do we accept these things on face value in spite of unprecedented Boko haram, American duplicity, our sneaky neighbors and IsIs in Libya eyeing Niger and Lake Chad?
