We realize that the main reason why students spend longer than usual at home after
their secondary school education is because they are not exposed to the kind of
information that would help them proceed into the university. For the benefit of
those who do not know what IJMB is, we will explain what IJMB PROGRAMME is
about.
Interim Joint Matriculation board programme is a programme moderated by Ahmadu
Bello University, Zaria with our affiliated centre here in Abuja, FCT . It is designed to
ameliorate problems of admission for candidates seeking admission into Nigeria
University instead of JAMB. This means students can now gain admission into
Nigerian Universities without JAMB.

Below are some benefits of ijmb
1. Admission into 70per of Nigerian Universities unlike other programme that restricts
you to their University only.
IJMB results can be used in federal, state and private universities in Nigeria
2. IJMB is used for 200Level ADMISSION after 9months into the following
Faculties:
Law, Social Sciences, Engineering, Arts & Humanities Sciences, Medicine
3. Unlike some other programmes that expire in a year, IJMB result is can be used
for admission processing for more than 5 years .
4. cost implication for other programmes is either the same or more than that of
IJMB.
5. IJMB does not require Jamb-UTME at all. Direct entry students do not write Jamb-
UTME.

Admission requirements for IJMB study Centre in Abuja
(a) five O/L credit passes as contain in jamb brochure
(b) Awaiting result can also apply but O/L result must be
available before University admission.

IJMB FEES
The whole amount you need is 130,000 Naira for the completion of the
Programme.
Here is the breakdown of the tuition fees
A. 8, 000 for application form,
B. 30,000 for accommodation
C. 90,000 for school fees. You can pay on instalment (in bits).
D. Acceptance 15,000
E. Praticals (for science students only ) 10,000
Total : 143,000 for ART and COMMERCIAL students. 153,000 for SCIENCE.

We allow payment on installment but first payment should be 70,000 and above
ACCOMODATION/HOSTEL FACILITIES
The hostel accommodation is in a very conducive and serene environment with
water and adequate electricity. Few bed spaces are available for incoming students
and allocation is going to be based entirely on a first come first serve basis.
