No.. Africa has just started to take development seriously right when the Originators of this development model such as in europe and USA, are faced with looming environmental crisis. People survived as bush men for thousands of years, but development has done in just 100 years so much damage that there is no way this kind of development can sustain itself and have people survive.
More people die per year in China due to development toxicity than people died in the days before development and modern advancements.

See Nigerias roads so full of vehichles and commercial trucks. The kinds of deaths happening on these modern Nigerian roads with modern vehicles, are more horrific than being a bush man attacked and eaten by lions.
When Development goes too far and people realize the mistake, there will be no nature to turn back to for salvation.
