10 Types Of Commentators On Nairaland by joshadedapo(m): 9:21am On Jan 15, 2016
1. Thread Opener: Most of us don't consider him/her as a commenter but he/she is one. Most times, he/she seems to be the one with the most reasonable comment. They are in active and constant fight with another member of this classification not to drag an ongoing conversation. They sometimes appeal to the other commenters when they know the extent those comments can go.

2. Those that derail threads: These ones are the most hated by the op. They add nothing positive to the conversation at hand. Remarks like 'meaningless post', 'rubbish topic', 'useless thread', are mostly what describes this particular group. They don't see anything good in even a meaningful post. They are the ones you'll see go at war of words with the op.

3. Grammaticons: Your level of written English is what they are particular about. They are one of the least in number among these groups. If you dare use the wrong tense or misspel (like I just did) you will see them coming after you like you are the queen of England. Who cares about that anyway? undecided undecided undecided

4. The Nairalander bully: We may not want to admit it but we might have one time bullied someone literarily on Nairaland before. You know the time when you were totally pissed off with the op or someone's comment that you resolved into doing this. This happens when someone's comment conflict totally with your set of ideas and principles concerning a topic. Abuses reigns here while reasonable ideologies and matured arguments are tossed out of the room.

5. Political and ethnic bigots: Anything they comment on must bring them to why Buhari has helped/failed the nation even when the trending topic is not on the political section. They bring ethnicity into trending topics at will and make those topics look like they are meant for a particular tribe. Nairaland have some funny set of people o grin grin

6. Non commited: Those who abstain from sensitive topics. You have seen the following comments before on Nairaland- Wetin concern me, spreads mat, ghen-ghen, I don't know, here to read comments.

7. The religious: Instead of them glueing to their section on NL, they float about telling you when you have sinned, who you have sinned against and reporting you to God for forgiveness. They can as well fight tooth and nail if you dare mention the name of their G.Os as if you have blasphemed God himself.

8. The deviants: Easily break NL rules with every comment. I call them lalasticlala and mynd44's ban friend. The only way not to ban them is if they never comment smiley smiley smiley grin

9. Comedians: This is the craziest group on NL. Every single comment they make is a hit jovially...they are gifted

10. Absent commenters: These make comments that have nothing to do with the topic. Comments like 'abeg who get Nokia 5600 charger', 'call me if you are travelling tomorrow', 'who stole my pen' smiley smiley smiley smiley
