As the recent Bayelsa State election got finally conclusive, everybody is still waiting for when President Buhari will congratulate the Governor elect, Hon. Seriake Dickson of the PDP. One would have expected the President to at least say congratulation to the opposition Governor just as Jonathan did to opposition Governors in is time. Jonathan did to both Governor Oshiomole of Edo and Aregbesola of Osun.

Facts below:

Jonathan congratulates Oshiomole on his re-election
Posted by admin on July 15, 2012 in nigerian news

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan congratulates Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State on his re-election yesterday for another term in office.
President Jonathan also commends the Independent National Electoral Commission, its personnel and the nation’s security services for ensuring that the elections were free and fair in keeping with his administration’s commitment to continually strengthening democracy in Nigeria through the establishment of a more credible electoral system.
The President urges Governor Oshiomhole to receive the fresh mandate given to him yesterday by the people of Edo State as an endorsement of his outstanding performance in his first term and an expression of their desire for a continuation of his focused, purposeful and dynamic leadership.
He expects that the Governor will work even harder in his second term to justify the confidence in his leadership clearly expressed by the Edo State electorate yesterday and assures him that the Federal Government will continue to give all possible support and assistance for development in the state.
President Jonathan wishes the Comrade-Governor continued good health and a successful second term in the service of Edo State and Nigeria.

Jonathan congratulates Aregbesola, INEC

On August 10, 2014 2:08 pm In News, Osun Polls by adekunleComments
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Sunday congratulated Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State on his victory in Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
The president made this known in a statement signed by Reuben Abati Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) read thus
“President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan congratulates Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State on his victory in Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
The President commends the Independent National Electoral Commission and national security agencies for ensuring that the elections were free, fair, credible and peaceful in keeping with the avowed commitment of his Administration.
President Jonathan also applauds the people of Osun State who came out en masse yesterday in all the local government areas of the state to peacefully and freely exercise their democratic right, trusting in his assurance that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure their safety and the sanctity of their votes.
The President believes that the free, fair and peaceful conduct of the elections have fully reaffirmed his administration’s determination to positively reform Nigeria’s electoral processes.
The outcome of the election has also given the lie to the false, unfair and uncharitable allegations that measures put in place by the federal government for the Ekiti and Osun State elections were partisan and designed to achieve a favourable outcome for his party.
As Governor Aregbesola prepares to begin a second term in office, President Jonathan looks forward to continuing to work with him and other state governors to further improve the living conditions of Nigerians in Osun and other states of the country.
He wishes Governor Aregbesola continued good health and a successful second term in office.”

Can President Buhari do same?

Jonathan is light years ahead of BUhari in many things.

APC is yet to congratulate Dickson, that is not the spirit of sportsmanship

Buhari is yet to obey any court order but APC puppets expect tompolo to obey court orders.

anybody can die because of Buharis ambition but Jonathan clearly proved that his ambition is not worth the blood of anybody.

Under Jonathan no Nigerian went on self exile but in 8 months under Buhari, many are on exile including dikko. muazu and others.

Under Jonathan EFCC did not hound anybody as they were instructed to finish their investigation before arresting and charging people to court but under Buhari, EFCC are arresting people before carrying out investigation.

Buhari has never won an award that is well known but Jonathan is wining awards every now and then including yesterday

If I say I love you and you say that I don't love you..
What have I gained..? Nothing.

Sometimes it is better to judge things from the receiving side..

Judging by reactions of Nigerians on both parties, Goodluck Jonathan wins here..!
