Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Accounting/Planning
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
• Analysing client information and preparing plans best suited to the business and individual clients' requirements;
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager and the Project Coordinators to create budgets for the company and for new projects;
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice;
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports on operations and capital projects;
• Project costing and valuation of Capital Projects for the company and clients;
• Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts and management information for clients;

Tax Planning and Management:
• Strategizing with clients to minimize tax liability;
• Consulting with client on Tax related matters
• Preparing tax returns for company and clients;
Keeping clients compliant with their tax obligations;

Audit Engagement:
• Conducting auditing exercises for clients;
• Supervise audit teams on audit engagements and making appropriate reports;
• Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity;

Business Advisory:
• Develop proposals and various documents as assigned;
• Conduct extensive market research, and continuous gathering of information to keep the company abreast of current industry trends;
• Prepare detailed business plans for clients;
• Advising on business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions (corporate finance);



Qualification and Skills
• BSc Accounting with minimum of three (3) years’ experience.
• ICAN/ACCA Qualified
• A thorough knowledge of Nigerian Tax systems and procedures
• General business interest and awareness;
• Self-motivated and committed
• Excellent communicator;
• Organisational and time management skills;
• Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft packages;
• Strong analytical, numeracy and problem-solving skills;
• Leadership qualities and effective team working skills;
• Integrity and trustworthiness
