Yet more proof that Wenger and his team still cannot cut it at the very top. The response to the card was poor. Arsenal badly needs new management with big game mentality. The only reason they are up there is that the traditional table toppers City, Chelsea and United have been poor and inconsistent this season and not because Wenger has done anything special. He needs to go and fast enough to let the younger, hungrier generation of managers through. Pep will be available in the summer. He's expressed his admiration for the team and his philosophy syncs. It will be a real pity if the club misses the golden opportunity to get the golden Pep. Wenger is done.

Thank God l did not sacrifice a very important event , to watch this match!

I knew Arsenal will lose as usual.... They ALWAYS lose to the Top four!
Even STOKES dey beat them.

Even if Chelsea gets relegated to Div 3, they will still beat Chelsea anyday, anytime.

Man City will their Bad Season, is now ahead of Arsenal!

I don't knw ow u measure ur own major clubs...bt I will say, if it by champions league...remove arsenal, if its by premier league then remove liverpool cos they haven't even win the 'premier league' in their entire life, now, back to u gan gan, shey na numbers be ur problem abi ur eyes, cos d last time I checked, chelsea was in 13position, which is far above relegation zone.....anyway, I understand ur plight, losing to a regular team is nt a good thing, meanwhile, embrace it cos u will still see more of it....peace out !

Yeah, I don't get it. 17 years and one champions league final appearance is decidedly poor, a decade without a league title with all the resources they have is poor. Every other team in the top league groupings across Europe has won in that time. In France Lyon, PSG, etc. In Italy Milan, Inter, Juve. Even in ultra-polarised leagues like Germany and Spain, Bayern has been upstaged by Dortmund lately and mighty Barca and Real pipped for Laliga by Atletico. The titles have gone round pretty much in Europe in the last decade leaving Arsenal perenial under achievers.

I don't know if you have seen it but here it is.......

Match Stats.........

* Chelsea are unbeaten in nine premier league games with the Gunners. (W6 D3).

* Arsenal have now gone nine hours and 32 minutes without a premier league goal against Chelsea.

* Chelsea are on the current longest unbeaten run in the league (W3 D4).
