the addition of zero into the expression is a very clever one. it tricks the solver into considering it as a nonentity and subtracting one from 6.

meanwhile, the answer is seven. because,

6 - 1x0 + 2/2 is equal to

6 + 2/2 - 1x0 . and that is equal to

6 + 1 - 0

at which point it becomes trivial to answer.

It all boils down to 6-+1. E don tey sha, i no know if -x+ is equal to - or +. But if it's - then it will be 6-1=5 and if it's + then it's 6+1=7.
So either 5 or 7 is the final answer.
