Experts and the experienced in the house, a car is about to be purchased but there are confusions as to the model year.

It is a Ford Escape which was first described as 01 model but later claimed to be 03. The VIN details pic sent seem to support 01 and not 03.

For 2010 and up, it begins with letter A

So 2010 is A, 2011 is B, 2012 is C etc
