Some people would tell me that Buhari is working & stuff. Nigeria is getting worse day by day, thanks to your self acclaimed 'change'.

Me sef go soon commot from Nigeria, make una dey enjoy una Fvcking change.

Down here in Kaduna, Stupid verification was done before salaries were paid, Putting Workers under stress for close to 5hours to get Money they worked for & after Verifying, he then used the money to be giving children free lunch like Food was the main aim of coming to school. Mtchw.

All these APC touts on Nairaland would just sit in their convenient zones & discuss How your President (Not mine) Has been working. Come to the North & see things.

NB: i hardly talk politics

You are very ungrateful. According to you, ELRUFAI having done with his screening exercise discover some money which is use to feed pupils in all the primary school in your state and you are complaining.
Where were you when this money is pocketed by some corrupt politicians of your state. mtsw

Wada Performs Groundbreaking For a Contractor Financed Ganaja Flyover Bridge

The Kogi State governor, Capt. Idris Wada, Thursday, flagged off the graded separation Interchange (flyover) project at the popular Ganaja junction in Lokoja metropolis.

The Governor said the project is a CONTRACTOR FINANCED project. The contractor TEC ENGINEERIG has sourced the funds required from China and has given the state a long repayment period.
The project is estimated to cost 4.6b and is expected to be completed in 18 months.

"This is not a project where we pay mobilization or advance payment. They are going to start the work. They have the equipments, the technical manpower. It's contractor financed. So it is a window of opportunity we cannot afford to miss. This project belongs to Kogi State, it doesn’t belong to me", Wada said.

Capt. Wada however noted that the construction of the fly-over bridge will no doubt give room for free flow of traffic and also improve the socio-economic activities of the people.

In his remark, the state commissioner of Works, Arc. Godwin Onamah, said the process for procurement of the project began about a year ago and it was testament of the novel method of governance that the capt Wada administration brought to the state.

When completed, the flyover will substantially reduce the daily gridlock which is experienced by commuters and motorists at the Ganaja junction, Lokongoma and Phase II Housing Estate.

Among those who were on ground with the governor for the groundbreaking ceremony were council chairmen, commissioners, members of the state legislature and other politicians.

No, Africa is cursed. Despite all the resources and manpower, Africa is still being plagued by crisis. Don't be naïve.

There should be about a percentage of the income of a government to spend on salaries and similar things, and the remaining percentage to spend on capital projects. Let each government employs the nos of employees it can manage. Each should not use the percentage of salary for capital projects nor that of capital projects for salaries

That statement is very wrong, Africa has its problems but it is not cursed, in the midst of what you call curse, I see opportunities for advancement, I have also seen men and women who have made something out of being african, the problems we have in africa are in other parts of the world, even the so called developed countries.

Have you asked yourself ,why foreigners like coming to africa and even stay here ?

Learn to look at issues critically without bias, and stop calling people who believe in their country naive. Name calling doesn't make your point valid.
