Information reaching edufrica indicates that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, University of Jos chapter has called off the three months-old industial action it embarked on since October 2015.

Announcing this on his facebook page, the Principal Assistant Registrar, Unijos, Mr Abdullahi Adullahi said ”ASUU Unijos Suspends Strike Action. Details later.”

With this development, lectures are to resume while the fate of thousands of students awaiting the 2nd list for successful applicants who wrote the 2015 Joint Admission and Matriculation Baord Examination will be known soon.
