Hello forum,
I need your help. I have a friend whose lost his cellphone. He uses same co. as i once did, and I'd like to give him my old cellphone so he doesn't have to buy another. (Great friend, bad economy, so help is through friendship)  But I want to wipe the SIMcard clean first before giving him my old phone. Do I have to do this one intrey at a time, or is there a way to just 'clean' off the SIM ? Thanks to all who can help.

Ur giving hm a phone nt a SIM,so keep ur sim.
Do a 'restore factory settings' on the phone n al data will b deleted including contacts.

Could you please elaborate? I am very technically challenged How would I do this? Does he have to buy another card? How do I reach 'factory restore?' in the phonebank, is this under 'settings' I am recharging phone now so cannot look at it yet.  I apologize for my ignorance, that's why I came here, for your help. Be elaborate. What network and what phone is that?

it is a metro pcs phone, and can dial only in US contingent. I think I bought the phone in '05', has a fliptop and internet access, I think. Thanks,
