14 Terrorist☠ Arrested Before Indian's Republic Day.


On Friday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) along with state police rounded up 14 ISIS sympathisers and upgraded surveillance on suspected terrorists ahead of Republic Day India which will be celebrated next week, on Tuesday. As per the Home Ministry, the arrests have been nation-wide.

A total of 5 persons from Lucknow, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Mangalore have been arrested⛓, and 9 persons are in custody for interrogations. The NIA moved into action as the Bengaluru French Consulate received a threat letter. As per the instructions of the Delhi Police, for the Republic Day India security arrangements the Delhi Metro services of line 2, 3 &4 will be partially curtailed. The Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro stations' Entry and Exit at will remain closed from 0600 hrs to Noon while those of Patel Chowk and Race Course Metro stations will remain closed from 0845 hrs to Noon.
