The Founder Institute is the world’s premier startup launch program for talented entrepreneurs. Many leaders of the world’s fastest-growing startups have used our program to transition from employee to entrepreneur, test their startup ideas, build a team, get their first customers, raise funding, and more. In addition, the Founder Institute is the only program of its kind that accepts entrepreneurs with day jobs and shares equity with all participants.

Based in Silicon Valley and with chapters across 58 countries, the Founder Institute’s mission is to “Globalize Silicon Valley” and build sustainable startup ecosystems that will create one million new jobs.

Who Should Apply?

The Founder Institute focuses on founders instead of ideas. In fact, you are not even required to tell us your idea to apply. If you are talented and motivated to do the work required to build an enduring tech or tech-enabled company, then we want to hear from you. This includes aspiring founders with a full-time job, solo founders, teams, and founders of established companies.

What to Expect?

If you complete the Interest Form below before the Launch Deadline on 2016-04-03, you don't have to pay the application fee ($25 USD value), and you will be eligible to receive the prestigious "Launch Fellowship" if the semester launches (a distinction awarded to the top overall applicant, giving them a free course fee).

However, completing the Interest Form below does not guarantee a semester in your locale, nor your acceptance to it. Like any good startup testing an MVP, the Founder Institute tests demand in a market before devoting its full resources towards that market. If we get enough local demand, then we will launch the semester and you will be promptly notified.
