There is more trouble for suspected female staffer with Union Bank branch located along airport road in Benin who was alleged to have defrauded the wife of an aide to Governor Adams Oshiomhole of N15 million as she has been remanded in prison custody on the orders of an Oredo Magistrate Court pending her arraignment in February 25, 2016.

The suspect, Gloria Ogbeide, was arraigned before Justice Adejumo of Oredo Magistrate Court 4 where she is standing trial on alleged advance free fraud popularly referred to as 419.

The suspect was said to have lured his victim, whose husband incidentally is the special adviser on security to Governor Oshiomhole, to open a fixed deposit account of about N15 million .

She was said have hoodwinked Mrs Kadiri when she presented a birthday cake baked with the logo of the bank, making her believe it came from the bank.

The bubble was said to a have burst for the suspect when Mrs Kadiri requested to have access to the money and she was told that the money had been lent to the banks cooperative, development which arose her suspicion.

On investigation, it was discovered that the bank did not run a cooperative society and the money could not be traced.

Ogbeide, it was learnt, quickly wrote a letter of resignation to the bank and this was revealed to the victim.

It was further learnt that when Gloria was arrested on the account of her perceived resignation, she later resorted to blackmail stating that she was unduly molested by the Kadiris.
