An Ikeja High court directed by Justice Lateefa Okunnu has indicted and sentenced an undergrad of Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University, Malaysia, Hope Olusegun Aroke, to 24 years detainment over a web trick including N25 million.

Equity Okunnu found the convict blameworthy of the two-tally charge of falsification and getting cash under false misrepresentation leveled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The 25 years of age undergrad was blamed for getting cash by false misrepresentation from his casualties; cloning of bank check, wire exchange and fabrication.

In the wake of inspecting the case, Justice Okunnu discovered him liable of the check charges and sentenced him to twelve years detainment on each of the two tallies.
Aroke’s deceitful demonstration turned into an open issue when a mysterious candidate kept in touch with the EFCC, charging that the convict who hails from Kogi state was included in some online fake acts, which constrained the EFCC to begin examination prompting Aroke’s capture and indictment.
