Please I would like to have an Idea of how much it would cost to clear a 2007 or 2008 Hummer H3 at the Apapa port. Your inputs are very important and it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx for your responses in advance.

Please I urgently need this info from my people On Nairaland. I and a friend of mine just shipped down an Hummer H3 for The US which should be getting to naija in a 2weeks time, hence the need to have an Idea of what it would cost so we can get a fair deal form the agents we are planning to use. Out of interest, why didn't you guys do your research, before shipping? It would put less pressure on you, if you didn't have to rush round, trying to get clearing quotes, whilst praying the ship should be delayed, to give yourselves more time!

I agree with Emperoh's suggestion. Factors that will affect your actual cost include whether the hummer is containerized, if RORO what terminal will the car be located after it arrives, and finally your negotiation skills with clearing agent.

We actually had a budget of between 500k and 800k for the car but on talking to agents down in Nigeria some of them came up with prices like 1million and above.
The car is not containerized its actually on RORO. Just need to have a good price Idea so we can negotiate better with the agents.
