All the traders at the popular Jakande Plank market in Ikosi area of Ketu Lagos are currently mourning after losing all their investments to a raging fire that started in the early hours of today.Around 4am this morning, goods worth over 85 million naira were destroyed as fire guts the tyre section of the market before spreading to the banana and planks section. According to LASEMA General Manager, Michael Akinde, 3 cars were also destroyed but luckily no life was lost to the inferno.
