Why don't you guys forget about jamb and do Ijmb at The polytechnic Ibadan and gain admission into 200level next year. With Ijmb you are sure of getting admission into any university except Unilag.

lol..when I was still fresh from secondary school, my first two tries at jamb I scored 214 and 220 respectively..but for some circumstances I couldn't secure admission for the course I wanted to study..my next try at jamb I scored a pitiful 197 but smashed my post ume(which I took more seriously) and got what I was looking for..lol..kai the irony of life..good and educative post by the way.

Op forgot this: get familiar with Computer Based Tests. There r alota.past questions software u can install on a system n start practicing not just questions, but timing urself also.

Time yourself when you are practising past question to simulate exam condition. This is more effective if done with friends and u interchange papers for marking. Trust me your performance will improve with time.
