One of our reputable clients is seeking for a Fleet and Admin Officer in Abuja Nigeria.
Job Description
1. Responsible to select the right vehicles and dispatch drivers effectively.
2. Maintain vehicles in good operating condition so that company distribution targets are met timely.
3. Coordinate and take charge of procurement for all vehicle spare parts.
4. Knowledgeable about operations and experienced in logistics and vehicle maintenance.
5. Skilled in the usage of fleet management software to track and monitor the various aspects of fleet and drivers operations.
6. Make decisions about the types of vehicles to acquire and most suitable method drivers operations.
7. Maintain vehicle service and inspection records to ensure compliance with manufacturers’ servicing schedules or requirements.
8. Maintain records to demonstrate that their fleet operations comply with state laws.
9. Coordinate activities of drivers across various operations

Key Performance Indicators
1. Selection of vehicles for various operations.
2. Coordinate team members in logistic department.
3. Sound knowledge of various vehicles and their spare parts
4. Sound knowledge of auto-mobile industry.
5. Work effectively with operation department.

Functional Competencies
1. Good verbal and written communication skills
2. Good coordinating prowess.
3. Strong negotiating skill.
4. Ability to multi task.
5. Must be a good team player.
6. Strong mechanical knowledge.
Qualifications
Candidate must have B.sc/HND in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering field.
A minimum of 6 years post NYSC working experience in a reputable Multinational company.
